Commonly used hazardous chemicals in Pharmaceutical chemistry -Antidotes and accidantal management

This course provides essential knowledge about hazardous chemicals commonly encountered in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory and their associated risks. Hazardous chemicals include substances that are toxic, corrosive, flammable, reactive, explosive, carcinogenic, or environmentally harmful.
The module covers major categories such as flammable solvents (methanol, acetone), strong acids and bases (sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide), toxic reagents (sodium azide, hydrazine, bromine), heavy metals (mercury, lead), cyanides, oxidizers, halogenated solvents, alkylating agents, and radioactive materials
