Quadrant – II (Study Material)
The Clavicle Demonstration helps students understand the structure and features of the clavicle (collar bone). In this course, students learn how to identify the clavicle, determine its side, and place it correctly in the anatomical position. The course explains the parts of the clavicle, including its medial and lateral ends, surfaces, and important landmarks. It also covers muscle and ligament attachments and the joints formed by the clavicle with the sternum and scapula. Students are introduced to the special characteristics of the clavicle, its development and ossification, and its clinical importance, especially common fracture sites. Overall, this course builds a basic understanding of the clavicle that is important for anatomy practicals, viva exams, and clinical learning.
